Robes and Snow and From Four Paths bring you "Ghost Lake," A collaborative album that uses Atmospheric and Folk Black Metal, Dark Ambient, and Dark Folk sounds to explore a mysterious but very real location called "Ghost Lake" and the surrounding areas- places of significance for both artists.
Individual Songs are attributed to the relevant artists, and any song labeled as "Ghost Lake" are collaborations with equal contribution. The entire album is available on both Bandcamps, and both artists agree to split any profits made.

Probably the best in the Fugitive's repertoire of raw, symphonic, buzzsaw poems of dark fantasy. May it have its knightly tinge, it appears to be a more somber exposition in my mind's eye. The first track envisaged for me, a grim and hopeless struggle of a bloody and dirtied knight, the listener, fighting an uphill battle in darkness that has all but extinguished his or her inner light. Despite setback, the warrior stands time and again, and embraces the agonizing woe of assiduity.

A dreamy, beguiling, nostalgic dungeon synth quest through the shires. But, it's so much more than that. The LP incorporates some unique key changes, field recordings and a lot of Mort Garson style synth work. It sometimes reminds me of old 70's PG horror soundtracks. The record is addictive melancholy inspiration. The ideal music for accompanying the dawning morning of an epic adventure.

La source, c'est le lieu où se rencontrent des symboliques en opposition : les malheureux s'y noient dans le mensonge qu'est leur reflet et les preux chevaliers s'y révèlent ; c'est un écrin de nature où l'on peut avoir audience avec le surnaturel. C'est justement l'univers choisi par Water Nymph dans Heroic Pond, son premier album : on y retrouve le même dungeon synth marin avec cette fois plus de majesté — et on y entend les nymphes chanter et jouer du violon ! Une petite perle réconfortante.
