Melkor's is full of very talented people, and it's fantastic to finally listen to the collab. For the first time I can't pick a favorite track, because it feels like having to pick a favorite kid. The album is full of energy and motion, I love all the tonal shifts and differences between artistic styles. Please give it a listen, it's packed full of amazing tracks.

Dedicated to the glorious dungeon-goers of Melkor's fine establishment.. ne'er in all my days have I been graced with such fine company as this. So thus, I raise a toast to tavern-folks, the spinning of tales, and friendships forged under such unlikely circumstances as these. Adventure on!

The artists involved began crafting this quite some time ago, with only the writing prompt “You Meet in a Tavern..”. We all liked the idea of collaborating on a themed tape and wanted to do so for a charitable cause.
In light of recent events, we decided that the best way to do this would be to provide some level of humanitarian aid for the people of Ukraine. With a combined effort and some help from many wonderful artists in the DS scene, we were able to put this collaboration together, and will be donating all proceeds to the International Red Cross, for relief in the war in Ukraine.
I'd like to give a special thank you to the artists involved - may their music help in the fight against the hideous monstrosity of war. Soon we shall be opening up a pre-order that will run until the end of March, at which point we'll be putting in the order for production. So the wait time will likely be 6-10 weeks after the order is placed, depending on how the manufacturing times are running at that moment.
Our hearts go out for those affected by this war, We hope all of you & your loved ones are safe and healthy.

A dreamy, beguiling, nostalgic dungeon synth quest through the shires. But, it's so much more than that. The LP incorporates some unique key changes, field recordings and a lot of Mort Garson style synth work. It sometimes reminds me of old 70's PG horror soundtracks. The record is addictive melancholy inspiration. The ideal music for accompanying the dawning morning of an epic adventure.

La source, c'est le lieu où se rencontrent des symboliques en opposition : les malheureux s'y noient dans le mensonge qu'est leur reflet et les preux chevaliers s'y révèlent ; c'est un écrin de nature où l'on peut avoir audience avec le surnaturel. C'est justement l'univers choisi par Water Nymph dans Heroic Pond, son premier album : on y retrouve le même dungeon synth marin avec cette fois plus de majesté — et on y entend les nymphes chanter et jouer du violon ! Une petite perle réconfortante.

Probably the best in the Fugitive's repertoire of raw, symphonic, buzzsaw poems of dark fantasy. May it have its knightly tinge, it appears to be a more somber exposition in my mind's eye. The first track envisaged for me, a grim and hopeless struggle of a bloody and dirtied knight, the listener, fighting an uphill battle in darkness that has all but extinguished his or her inner light. Despite setback, the warrior stands time and again, and embraces the agonizing woe of assiduity.
