I immersed myself in a fantasy where my grandmother gives me precepts and i go to harvest while experiencing different feelings that overwhelm me today. While i’m walking, the war begins. Will i have time to return to where i came from? This is a vast battlefield that you have to go through to collect the harvest. When returning, the way may be mined and become someone else's. The world has long gone crazy and with the help of this music i want to draw attention to a world in which there is pain from wars that should not begin.

A dreamy, beguiling, nostalgic dungeon synth quest through the shires. But, it's so much more than that. The LP incorporates some unique key changes, field recordings and a lot of Mort Garson style synth work. It sometimes reminds me of old 70's PG horror soundtracks. The record is addictive melancholy inspiration. The ideal music for accompanying the dawning morning of an epic adventure.

Probably the best in the Fugitive's repertoire of raw, symphonic, buzzsaw poems of dark fantasy. May it have its knightly tinge, it appears to be a more somber exposition in my mind's eye. The first track envisaged for me, a grim and hopeless struggle of a bloody and dirtied knight, the listener, fighting an uphill battle in darkness that has all but extinguished his or her inner light. Despite setback, the warrior stands time and again, and embraces the agonizing woe of assiduity.

Drýsildjöfull, formation islandaise mystérieuse, est admirable parce qu'elle a la même démarche novatrice que Life (l'objectif est totalement différent) : elle prend comme base un genre qui n'est pas connu pour faire des compromis, le punk, et en fait... ce qu'elle veut. Dans Dýflissupaunk, les riffs agressifs du punk et les cris black metal se retrouvent mis sur un pied d'égalité avec une boîte à rythmes "poum-clap" et une électro rétro-kitsch. Dýflissupaunk, c'est du moshpit pour gobelins !
